Hi friends! It’s been a hot second since I’ve posted anything, so I’m sorry to have deprived you of my… depravity. I thought it might be nice to pick things back up with a quick roundup of my 2016 favorites–all the things that made me smile biggest this year and, more than likely, made my room smell better.
First thing’s first: I graduated from college this year! I documented that in the only way a girl with a full phone knows how: saved Snapchat pictures.
The trip to London immediately after graduation was definitely a highlight.
Another trip on the 2016 favorites list: the roadtrip across the country that took me to Colorado, Utah and Montana was a huge highlight. That happened just weeks before I moved to New York–I swear I lived out of a suitcase the entire summer!
Who would I be if I didn’t include food or coffee on this list? I ate at some memorable places this year, like Launderette in Austin, Rubirosa in New York, and a particularly yummy Italian restaurant in London… whose name I forget. I’d be into making my way through the menus at each of them. Coffee at Balthazar has been absolutely requisite since I started working on Crosby Street, and I’ll be happily slurping down golden lattes from Bluestone Lane until I leave this city.
I finagled my way into a lot of samples of Tom Ford this year… and this Christmas.
Man Repeller has been a constant and consistent source of entertainment and smiles.
The brain-break that I’ve apparently taken in the last three weeks. Sorry, readers, but it was kind of necessary.
And the secret-that’s-not-a-secret: I finally finally finally (after several months of working two jobs) am going to have a steady, full-time, same-place-Monday-to-Friday, CAREER-TYPE JOB. More to follow.
